Yummy Mummy.....golden delicious

Juggling the workload:

So, lets face facts here the average women after juggling the household chores, trying to find what to cook for tea, thats different, not boring and edible. Will think this blog is the last thing she thinks about..being a"Yummy Mummy". Its fine line between looking good, and not trying too hard. Which is were I am at now with having a 14 year old son. who would waste no time in saying " are you wearing THAT mum?". Which doesnt make me feel great.
I myself really do juggle lots of plates and wear lots of hats on an average day. I love to cook. I love a tidy home. I want to have a job I enjoy and earn a good living to help support the family. But i also dont want people to look at me and think...its time she dropped the beauty therapist hat, and hung it up for good on the count that am looking my years...or past them!

So tonight having completed all my household chores I might add. I didnt cook tea, left that one to my good hubby. I decided I wanted a nice soak in the bath, once my son had gone to bed. I have a busy day tomorrow teaching and I wanted to promote a good professional image.
But normal for me,the bath soak was quite late at night and I didnt want to be spending hours applying lots of products to get the results.

Bow down to the dream product for..less experienced tanners or Mums, wives, housewives, cleaners, professsional citizens....Dads too!

So prior to getting in my bath I used an exfoliator neat all over my body to make sure this product was applied as evenly as possible. Plus I felt I needed a bit of an all over scrub after day of housework. There is no great art to this apart from quickly as possible and jump in the bath to get super soft skin all ready to be bronzed and beautiful.

How to be Golden and delicious?

My advice would be to dry yourself off and get yourself a set of disposal gloves, the Sienna X instant bronzing gel promises not to rub off on your clothes and smells good enough to eat. For those people who arent expereinced tanners or perhaps who dare not to use a developing self tan. This is the dream product for you. If you go wrong....no panic it washes off. Its instant colour guide makes application so easy its just like applying a daily moisturiser. You seriously cant go wrong. Pump a small amount onto the palm of your hands, and rub onto the area you wish to tan instantly. The other great plus to this product is that you can apply it. Let it soak in and reapply over the top to give a deeper colour. It doesnt smell like a regular self tan...just sweet and yummy.  The other plus as a time saver is that you can apply onto the face so make application is minimal the next day and you wont be heading for the school playground looking pale, tired and frazzled. Just yummy, golden and delicious!

What I need?

disposable gloves

What are the results?

i
Instant bronzed skin
No rubbing on clothing
Smells delicious
Good for both men and women.. lets not forget yummy Dads too
Washes off
Can be topped up to achieve darker application
Great as a light make up base or instead of foundation

So the results are, minimal time spent, looking yummy for my busy professional day ahead. I look like I have spent hours on myself...who am I kidding!
Till next time.....keep juggling all those plates and remember, keep smiling : )

Fake Tanning: Manual V Spray

Firstly, just to clarify the differences between the two types of fake tanning. Manual tanning is applied directly onto and into the skin that has been prepared usually in a cream or lotion format and then is allowed to develop.Spray tan is applied using a compressor type air gun and is applied in a very fine mist in a liquid format and sits onto the skin until it soaks in and then develops. Manual tanning has made a big come from in recent times. Whilst previously it was all about spray tanning treatments for numerous reasons: quickness of the treatment, even application and less product generally used. But with clients wanting  to come to the salon, or treatment area and enjoy a full treatment that involves them giving up an hour or so of their time. This has really helped the manual tan application see a big come back hit! From my experience of learning many moons ago the application of manual tanning before spray tan was even out there....I know myself, I wasn't too kee

Faceframe 3D Eyebrows: taking the beauty industry by storm!

Having done a lot of extensive research about brow extensions over the past few months. I came across this brand FaceFrame3D. What excited me the most was that they have won an invention award for the concept of this brow treatment. Plus it's a UK designed product. If, like me, you like to go for new treatments to add to your salon menus. This is definitely going to blow you and your clients away. I watched a couple of the YouTube videos and was hooked! I did look around at other brands and designs. But it kept coming right back to this company. The training is all fully accredited with BABTAC and therefore recognised within the industry. It's not the cheapest out there. But then I am not always sure that cheapest is best. You do definitely get what you pay for in this world. What is Faceframe3D?  It is a simple concept of applying synthetic individual hairs that are adhered to the skin to create a 3-dimensional eyebrow can last up to 2 weeks depending on the afterca

Failing to prepare, is to preparing to fail: GCSE VTCT Ten Recommendations

I wanted to put together a guidance list of the ten points that I have learnt along my journey teaching this GCSE qualification in order to help support, guide and assist anyone who is about to start teaching this qualification, considering teaching it, or is currently teaching it and needing some additional guidance from someone who has hands on experience. These are my own personal points and by no means set in stone. So please use them as they were intended to be, as a help list. PREPARE: Now I know this might sound a bit of an obvious point as teachers and educators we are always having to think two steps ahead. But by this I mean have your unit scenarios printed for each learner. Have spaces up on your displays so they can collect them if they have lost theirs (students do love to forget things). Have grade descriptors for the unit printed and if they have them glue them into their books so you can mark as you go along and the students know instantly what grade they are
